CloudIRC shares the shell’s resources and IRC allowance. RAM shows target / maximum; disk shows soft / hard quota. Account overrides and application permissions may differ. Before you connect
Does registering immediately create a shell?
No. Your portal account lets you request a plan and track the requirements. Shell access becomes available after approval and activation.
How do Free shells stay active?
Use Keep / Renewal in your customer dashboard and check your expiry date. Free shells use the Keep system by default. Follow the renewal rules in the wiki and your dashboard.
Can I use an IPv4-only IRC client?
Approved application ports support inbound IPv4 access. Free shells use IPv6 for outbound IRC connections; other plans support IPv4 and IPv6 with IPv6 preferred. Use your panel's exact hostname, assigned port and TLS settings.
Which plans include CloudIRC?
CloudIRC is powered by The Lounge and enabled by default on Support-Plus and Premium. Staff can grant or disable access for an individual shell, including optional Staff access. Manage it in Packages; your instance uses the shell’s assigned IPv6 and existing resource and IRC limits.
Can I run any application?
Applications must be permitted by your plan and comply with the rules. Scanning, attacks, malware, mining and spam are prohibited. Check your package permissions and resource limits in the panel.
Where do I find prices and support?
Paid-plan pricing is arranged with staff. Open the customer panel for plan requests, or contact the community in #DWShells on DarkWorld IRC.
