- 01Dashboard account
Your sign-in and Inbox belong to the customer account.
- 02Shell selector
Choose the shell before making changes.
- 03Section
Open files, packages, access or renewal for that shell.
Start with the selected shell
Use the shell selector when more than one shell is linked. Read the username and status before starting an app, editing files or renewing. Limits and network allocations can differ between shells. An inactive shell may have unavailable controls.
Where to go
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Overview | Shell status, connection facts and next steps. |
| Plans | Available plans and the request workflow. |
| Shell Access | Browser SSH terminal using your shell password. |
| File Manager | Website files or an installed Eggdrop instance. |
| Packages | Manage permitted CloudIRC (The Lounge), ZNC, Eggdrop, Python or persistent sessions. CloudIRC is enabled by default on Support-Plus and Premium, subject to per-shell administrator controls. |
| Resource Usage | Measured usage and the selected shell’s limits. |
| IPv6 / DNS | Assigned addresses and supported hostname controls. |
| Keep / Renewal | The selected shell’s deadline and renewal allowance. |
| Security Centre | Dashboard 2FA and public SSH keys for the shell. |
| Backups & Restore | Available home copies and recovery requests. |
| Inbox | Messages for the customer account, shared across linked shells. |
A safe daily routine
Read notices
Check Overview and Inbox before assuming a service is ready.
Check renewal and resources
Review Keep / Renewal if required, then Resource Usage. An app shares CPU, memory, disk and process limits with everything else on the shell.
Make one change at a time
Choose the instance, apply the change and inspect the result or logs. Confirm the selected username again before destructive operations.
Three credentials to distinguish
- Dashboard password: signs you into the portal and confirms sensitive security actions.
- Shell password: connects to SSH/SFTP and the browser terminal.
- Application password: connects to your ZNC or Eggdrop owner account; it is not your shell password.
When controls are unavailable
Read the displayed explanation. A plan restriction, inactive shell or exhausted allocation can disable an action. Contact staff for changes rather than starting duplicate instances to bypass a limit.
